Hey guys!!! Can I just say that I am so excited to talk to the fam in ONE WEEK?!? What is even life. I swear I just Skyped for Christmas! Gotta say though, being on the Lord time is pretty cool though :)
Subject line:
In Relief Society on Sunday, the lesson started off with a question that was, "what is trending in life right now? What things are you into?" And my favorite human Kamimura Shimai (90 year old woman) stands up and just yells, "主にハマる!!" Her meaning that She was into God. I just started clapping on the spot.
I'm proud to say that I'm into God too!! HE IS THE BEST!!!! I have come to the realization that all I need in this life to be happy...is god. The things of the world can't even compare to the blessings that can come from heaven.
OLD LADIES
I just love old people.
The people here live to be over 100 years old. Not even kidding!!! It's weird if they die before then actually! They are so cute!!!!!!!! But anyways, I was at the grocery store, getting some of those necessities and all of a sudden I hear 2 people in line talking about me! (Being a white girl, no one expects that I can understand what's happening haha) but I turn around and I see 2 old ladies that are literally to my belly button. (!!!!!!) I was honestly a giant next to them hahahahah. And I started talking to them, they almost had a heart attack when they heard my Japanese hahah because I'm white. But one of them says, "my goodness you are so tall. And soooooo cute!!" And she reaches up and just grabs my cheeks!!! And pats my face for legit 7 seconds. IT WAS SO FUNNY. Oh I died. I love people.
4 LANGUAGES, 1 LESSON
We went to Li's house this week and met her son!! We didn't think they were going to let us in because Li was at work, and no one opens their doors to random people. A member went with us, and we rang their apartment doorbell and they let us in. (!!!!!!) THEY LET US IN. I was legit dying. That has never happened to me before. Long story short...ya know how they're a Chinese family??? Well, they can only speak Chinese and Korean!!! So we spoke Japanese to the son, while the member spoke Chinese to the grandma....then translated what she said to us in English...and then the member started speaking Korean to the other guy.....oh my gosh. It was so cool. I have a testimony that no matter what language you speak, the spirit will always be the common language.

This week I finished the Book of Mormon! And I just wanna say....IT'S TRUE. I'm so excited to read it again!! I have learned so much from it, that it's impossible to write down everything...but I have learned for myself that the Book of Mormon teaches us exactly what we need to do to obtain salvation. Exactly who we need to become to return and live with God forever. Don't you want that??? Because I do!! And I want my family there with me!
A cool pattern I found was that no matter what state people were in..God still loved them perfectly. He rescued them from captivity again...and again....and again...and again. (x infinity)
When our Lord and master, Jesus Christ is the center of our lives we can experience a fullness of joy. I encourage everyone to make the necessary changes needed to put him back into the center of who you are. After all, becoming like him is our ultimate goal right?
I love you all so much! I am so grateful for lord. He is my everything. I love him with my whole soul.
