Subject line:
From the words of my beloved Mission president.
He stopped me in the middle of a devotional just to tell me that 'the fact that I play Dodgeball like a man' is going around the mission, and that elders are scared of me. Haha what a compliment 😂
Next he stopped this other sister to tell her that she looks like this certain male soccer player. He pulled out his phone, Googled him on the spot and showed her! The guy had this huge beard and dreads haha! SO FUNNY. I thought I was going to fall over and die :')
My mission president is honestly the funniest human I have ever met 😂

We were in Matsudo, walking in the pouring rain for hours... no one wanted to talk to us...we were freezing...super far from home and we were about to walk across the street when we saw this woman bending over the side of a mailbox, looking like she was about to just throw up! We ran up to her to see if she was okay...(she was just stretching?? Idk) but we started talking to her! She was from Mexico City, and had met her husband from a karate tournament!!! (OK SO COOL RIGHT??? just wait!!) She said that she had met the missionaries like 20 years ago, when they just showed up to her door the day her father passed away. (!!!!!!!) I had chills just the whole time we talked! She took lessons and then she moved to Japan and lost all contact with the missionaries. She was so prepared!! I started to bare my testimony and tears just came to my eyes. Through the Pouring rain and the really loud noise from Tokyo....the very second I opened my mouth and started testifying that she was a child of God....it was like all the noise from the world was just put on mute. The rain started falling in slow motion I swear...it was the coolest experience I have ever had. She invited us back to her home and said she wanted to be taught again!
From this experience my testimony of the power of God literally skyrocketed. God loved this woman so much. And, I was able to feel just a small portion of that for her. I mean he basically stopped the rain so she could hear me say that!!!
Holy cow. BEING A MISSIONARY IS THE BEST ❤

In other news, my bike tire popped this last week...haaaa
A really nice and amazing member took us to the bike shop to get it fixed because it would have taken us days to walk there :') we put in the address to the bike shop (or what we thought was the address...) and it took us into the middle of the woods Hahahah OOPS! We ended up driving for over an hour trying to find the place 😂 It's really cool that the Lord still blesses us despite our really clumsy and blonde moments🙏
This member is honestly just a beautiful human being. She was called as the new Young Women's President! She was baptized when she was 29 years old... has has had no experience with the Young Women program or anything. That time where we got so incredibly lost to the bike shop (like literally) she had even more time to open up and just talk with us about what she was worried about. It was so cool!! It really brought me back to when I was in Young Women's and how much I really loved/love my Young Women's leaders. They had a huge impact on me :)
